Born and breed on the small Island of New Providence Nassau, Bahamas, to the late Wilfred Francis Simms and Rebecca Davidson. Pastor Davidson spending much of his youth involved in gangs, night club life, drugs and secular dance groups. Evangelist Davidson experienced a special visitation and encounter with The Lord on the way home from a night club and answered the call of God and gave his life to the Lord at the age of twenty (20) and became a follower of the ministry of Apostle S.D James under the local leadership of Bishop Stanley Seymour.
Years of spiritual dedication and investment into the vineyard of Christian ministry yielded great return which resulted in Evangelist Davidson being awarded with his license to preach the gospel in 1999 and his Ordination as a Pastor in 2006. He was later assigned to the position of Assistant Pastor of New Direction EPC under the leadership of Senior Pastor Sidney McIntosh.
God moved again and after some years of personal reflection and much prayer, Evangelist Davidson launched out into full time evangelistic and Kingdom outreach ministry. Along with his wife and a handful of faithful supporters, he launched a new and exciting ministry called “The Body of Jesus Christ (TBOJC)”.
Evangelist Davidson is also a successful businessman having founded and established Alex Factory Cuts and A.F.C Master Barbering. He also is the founder of TADI (The Alex Davidson Training Institute) where he grooms and trains tomorrows master barbers.
God has truly been good to Evangelist Davidson and richly blessed him with a beautiful wife and ministry partner, Lady Octavia Davidson and four (4) beautiful children Moriah, Joseph, Judah and Faith. Evangelist Davidson currently serves as the Senior Pastor of TBOJC (The Body of Jesus Christ) SDJEA Inc. and also travels as an evangelist throughout the Islands of the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the United States and beyond. He is God’s mouthpiece, the Revivalist, the Worshiper: Prophet & Evangelist Uriah Alexander Davidson.
